Guest guest
Thanks guys, I never would have thought of that. I have plenty of 'air' for the concentrator it just sits in my office, but when I'm up at the reception desk, the cord crosses tile floor and a a/c vent instead of just laying on my carpet. Thats why is comes in spurts..everytime the a/c comes on its condensing the humidity. Never ever would have thought of that. Thanks Dyane > > > Sorry hit return not tab....I have been using the humidifier bottles for months. Suddenly the one I use at work is acting up and spitting water bubbles up the hose. The only thing I'm doing different is I'm sitting at the reception desk which is one/half level above my office where the concentrator is. The humidifier bottle is not too full or too empty. Any ideas? The water dripping out my nose is just not the professional look I'm going for LOL > > Dyane Phoenix ipf 02 >
Guest guest
Dyane, Sorry OD moment.. not humidity but condensation.. in the line.. LOL Love & Prayers, PeggyFlorida, IPF/UIP 2004"I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet, when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly." Hi Dyane, I have the water in the nose thing also. Mine is caused from humidity in the hose from the machine that have a temperature change. I just undo the bottle for a couple hours in the afternoon when the temps are so high. My concentratoris outside so coming into the house it has quite a temp. change. Guest guest
Dyane... I am remembering when Lincare tech put a 'tube' between the two pieces of tubing (I had for additional footage). It worked immediately. I still get condensation in the tubes once in awhile but I open up the tube, shake what moisture is gathered in there and close it up again. Just unhooking the tube from the concentrator and giving it a little shake as far back as you see condensation works too... I'm talking about home conditions, work may present a different set of problems... Good luck. MamaSher; 71, IPF 3-2006, OR.Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Re: Water in my nose hose! Guest guest
Sher I suspect he put a water trap in the line. They are inexpensive and often work. > > > > > > Sorry hit return not tab....I have been using the humidifier bottles > for months. Guest guest
Bruce...yes, that is what he called it. Just a simple plastic tube, openings on both ends... Guest guest
ok, have not been on in awhile. I had that start a couple on months ago. Called my provider and they gave me a sort of tube to connect the hose from the machine to the hose we use on our faces. It is like a chamber that collects any excess water. Ever since this little pice was put in, no more water. The side of the clear tube is marked "airlife".Good luck.IPF/NSIP 08 NCSubject: Water in my nose hose! To: Breathe-Support Date: Wednesday, September 23, 2009, 3:37 PM Sorry hit return not tab....I have been using the humidifier bottles for months.
