Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I was listening to the news last night and the reporters were discussing how the weather affects energy prices. It occured to me that they were right. When it gets cold, everyone turns on their heat, which drives up the demand for oil and energy prices go up. When it gets hot in the summer, people go on vacation, they drive more which drives up demand and energy prices go up. The only time weather makes energy prices go down is when it gets really cold and HELL freezes over. In other news, a restaurant in Georgia is now serving a bacon double cheese burger using 2 krispy kreme donuts as buns. Apparently this is an attempt to make the worlds fattest policemen. Guest guest
Ken, one of the best reasons I love you as the moderator is that you always find the kernel of humor in everything. I wish you worked in the same office as me.... I could really use a dose of humor about every half hour or so! > Hi Everyone, > > I was listening to the news last night and the reporters were > discussing how the weather affects energy prices.
