Guest guest
I had my duodenal switch about 14 months ago. I went through the hair loss the first couple of months then it stopped. Now all of a sudden my hair is starting to come out again, and also my skin is really dry on the knuckles of my hands. Does anyone have suggestions on how to stop the hair loss and get my skin smooth again?
Guest guest
Drink more fluid and take zinc. I also wash my hair with nioxin and I didn't lose any hair from the surgery. Make sure you are getting in enough protein also. Ellen(Pam

I didn't lose any hair either. I shampoo with Biotin (from GNC) and take 100 mg. zinc and 50 mg. of Selenium. It seems to be working. I also drink lots of water and get lots of protein. I'm 7 1/2 months out. Jackie
