Guest guest
Hi, I'm new here. My daughter (5 months) just went in for her scan at Hangar and will get her helmet in a few weeks. The orthotist used to assist the original one, who had lots of experience but left to a different office. So he admits he is relatively new at it, but says he assisted the other one a lot and that it is pretty straight forward. With all your comments on needing and experienced orthotist, I'm wondering what I need to look out for as signs that he doesn't know what he's doing. The other orthotist is in an office about 40 minutes away, while this one is 5 minutes, so I'd prefer to stay with them unless it's necessary to switch, which I think I can do at any time... So any info anyone could give me on what to look out for and reasonable expectations at the beginning as signs that I should switch orthotist. Thanks, Alice
