Guest guest
I was taking Dilauded for a month and just recently switched to roxicodone, a lower dosage of oxycodone without aspirin in it. Yes, its a three ply, California is a bugger about narcotics...I guess cuz we are such a " happy " state. Most doctors do not carry triplicates in their practices so getting good pain killers really requires a lot, depending on your health plan and insurance. My orthopedist prescribed endocet 10/650 1-2 pills 3 times a day. When I went to a pain specialist, he was really upset. The 650 is the dosage of acetaminophren and he said your liver can only process 1000mg at a time. Prolonged usage could have made me very ill. So, I'm off anything with aspirin, and just on more frequent, but lower doses of the oxycontin. > OK--I can't resist! > > Who's taking or has taken Dilaudid for moderate to severe pain of any > kind? Guest guest
In past experience it has just put me out. And I don't wake up with a hangover feeling. I can no longer take Vicodin at all. It gives me a violent headache and nausea. The new Percocet 5/325 gives me the most pain relief without knocking me out. It is 5mg Percocet blended with 325mg acteminophine. Guest guest
Just an FYI for those who CAN take vicodin.. there is a newer form with higher hydrocodone and lower tylenol in it called Norco.. full name is Norco 10/325. MUCH better for the liver when taken 2 at a time. Liane > > OK--I can't resist! > > > > Who's taking or has taken Dilaudid for moderate to severe pain of > any > > kind? What was your dosage?
