I've been weaning myself of the meds in question, but as they are maintenance meds, what is the word on the street about stopping them altogether. I follow the diet strictly, and have gradually been introducing foods little by little. Sometimes I go on binges and have to eat a ton of havarti cheese or a hand ful of medjool dates, which are legal on the diet, but perhaps to advanced for me. but I digress. > > so what do we do about the ingredients in are medications? We can't just stop taking them alltogether, that could produce a flare/// any ideas? Keep taking them. Hopefully, you will soon be able to reduce the amount you take and ween from them that way. Some people do have their medications compounded without illegal fillers if they are very sensitive and can afford to do so. Mara
Guest guest
My meds all have illegals in them as well. I can't afford to compound, so I just try not to worry about it too much ;-). It's gotta be a pretty minuscule amount. Holly Crohn's SCD 12/01/08 > > Hi > > I've been diagnosed with colitis about a few years ago when I was 29.
