Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I don't post as often as I used to. I know some famiies have an oestoepenia issue with their kids. http://www.childrenshospitalla.org/body.cfm?id=13 & action=detail & ref=13 I found a bit of info refering to fat in the viseral area. That is the middle, where the organs sit. Our kids have trouble with hypotonia, so our kids have more fat to muscle ratio ffor weight. Not only that, but kids with GH defiency/usage problem have more fat in the viseral space due to to lack of GH. (See the guideline for GH use www.aace.com/clin/guidelines/hgh.pdf#search='growth%20treament%20growth%20guidel\ ines' If the second link doesn't work, try searching for American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist Medical Guideline for Clinical Practice For Growth Hormone Use In Adult And Chidren- 2003. I beleive the reference to viceral fat is on the first or second page. mom to Mercedes 6 years old RSS, osetopenia, and more __________________________________________________
