Guest guest
Believe it or not -- I just use a regular hand-held vegetable peeler (eek!) to peel off the skins of my fruits ...For apples, there are corers (all of these items can be found at Walmart, Target, KMart, Bed,Bath & Beyond, etc; -- Smoothies are the best way to get in your yogurt and your fruit in all at once... (just add a little honey) and it's heaven! I seem to tolerate mango and cooked fruit (strawberries peeled and deseeded and blueberries - cooked and deseeded) okay. If you want -- you can also make compotes out of the fruit...just chopping them up, adding a little water and same amount of honey and just letting the juices run out until it turns syrupy...then whip up some farmers cheese and creme fraiche (half-n-half cured for 24 hours with yogurt cultures) together...with a little honey..and its fantastic! I'm still one month into the diet -- but finally able to tolerate the yogurt thanks to the smoothies -- so I'm planning to buy lots of fruit for next week and just blend away! Is thinking about buying a smoothie book too: http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Smoothie-Book-Delicious-Desserts/dp/0446695793/re\ f=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1273873940 & sr=8-1 > > First and foremost I would like to thank everyone for sharing their pains, gains, up's & down's and their do's and dont's. Guest guest
Thank you very much for your input. So I will continue having smoothies. Also I will try and give it a shot with the berries just by cooking them and seeing if I tolerate their seeds or not. As we all know by now this is a great trial & error/ cause and effect way of living... > > > > First and foremost I would like to thank everyone for sharing their pains, gains, up's & down's and their do's and dont's.
