I've had horrible bloating the last couple times I tried that combo, but when its just avocado with another fruit or vegetable in a smoothie, i have a little bloating but there is no comparison. Any similar experiences? No, sure haven't. In fact, one of my best combos is avocado mayonnaise and chopped chicken for chicken salad. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle

Would you mind telling me EXACTLY what you put in this? I know chicken salad should be something you can just throw together, but the last few chicken/tuna/salmon salads I've attempted haven't been very good... I'd especially like to be able to make a yummy one with avocado, since I don't like avocados very much and would like to be able to eat more of them. Thanks!! I'm posting both my avocado mayonnaise recipe and my chicken salad recipe. I just sub avocado mayo for the regular mayo in the chicken salad recipe. Obviously, 6 avocados will yield more than one batch of mayo. One advantage of the avocado mayo is that it freezes just fine, so you can make up a large batch and freeze it, and then just defrost a cup or two at a time, as needed. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle

Which sounds so exotic and exciting! (Highly recommend " Culture Shock: India " as a read before -- or on your way there!)
