Guest guest
Hey Jodie, Sorry to hear about the insurance. Yuk. we paid out of pocket to see Dr H ,too. But we are so far away that we knew we'd be out of area or whatever they call it. Willie's ght is beginning. The good news is that insurance will pay. We'd been waiting to hear. Today I received the pen and all that stuff (genotropin) and tomorrow I'll call to schedule with the nurse. I am nervous. Can I give you a call sometime? Guest guest
Explain this to Dr. Harbison when you see her next. I can't promise anything (don't tell her I told you this) but about 3 years ago, the same thing happened with our insurance. I asked her if she could approve a discounted payment which would be the adjusted amount that the insurance would normally pay (so instead of the $350 or whatever it was, the ins adjusted amount was something like $150). So we would pay the $150 each time, and her office " wrote off " the other part. Guest guest
hey megan!! she did that the orginal time that they approved the visits and then again when we had to get it approved again but they still denied it again. and to top it off his other endo that is in network doesnt want to see him any more because he realizes that she is more of an expert. i might see if he will write a letter for us as well. jodie c
