Hey Jodie,

Sorry to hear about the insurance. Yuk. we paid out of pocket to see Dr H

,too. But we are so far away that we knew we'd be out of area or whatever they

call it.

Willie's ght is beginning. The good news is that insurance will pay. We'd

been waiting to hear. Today I received the pen and all that stuff (genotropin)

and tomorrow I'll call to schedule with the nurse. I am nervous. Can I give

you a call sometime?

well everyone i just got another letter from my insurance co. they

are not going to cover christopher's dr h visits as in-network(she

is not in network, but we can go out of network with a deductible)

the only thing is our decutible is $1000 so basically we will be

paying for each visit at $350 a pop!! i have one more appeal so

that is what i am going to do , either way we will still go to dr h

we will just have to pay out of pocket for it!! it's always

something!!

Explain this to Dr. Harbison when you see her next. I can't promise

anything (don't tell her I told you this) but about 3 years ago, the

same thing happened with our insurance. I asked her if she could

approve a discounted payment which would be the adjusted amount that

the insurance would normally pay (so instead of the $350 or whatever

it was, the ins adjusted amount was something like $150). So we

would pay the $150 each time, and her office " wrote off " the other

part. Jenn

hey megan!!

she did that the orginal time that they approved the visits and then

again when we had to get it approved again but they still denied it

again. and to top it off his other endo that is in network doesnt

want to see him any more because he realizes that she is more of an

expert. i might see if he will write a letter for us as well.
