Guest guest
GIO, I decided not to take the new meds until tomorrow. One has a steroid in it. I'm trying to quit the Prednisone. I'm cutting down again tomorrow so that's a better time to add more steroids. I really hate this doctor business. While you are checking out towns how about Coeur'D'alene, Idaho. Weatherwise it's about the same as Blanchard but it is much more interesting. Movie stars go there and a few older ones live there. It doesn't make sense but I believe the name means Heart of the Awl. I lived there as a teenager and that's where I met and married my first husband. A big mistake and a short marriage. The Pacific Northwest is my place and I love it on the coast and I want to go back. My daughter lives in Gig Harbor, Wa. Maybe I'll move there.Beverley Joy,71, UIP,NSIP 1-09,Diabetes,Sjogren's,Fibromyalgia IdahoSubject: Re: Coughing And Retinal DetachmentTo: Breathe-Support Date: Friday, October 9, 2009, 6:40 PM Ooh YUK.... I'm too familiar with a throat that feels like the 'Bottom of the Cocky's Cage' ...as a Mouth breather it's a constant but my Meds for Interstitial Cystitis make it even worse...I don't take the tablet at night.. I have to keep waking up to have sips of water all night as it is....then run to the Loo....cripes. ..I'd NEVER get any sleep if my Gob was any drier! Early indications following surgery point to a full restoration of previous sight. Out of curiousity, I have looked on the internet and found that hard or excessive coughing can result in retinal detachment. I had been a little lax in getting my cough under control, but no doubt I will call my pulmonologist and get serious about it. > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Have any others on this list experienced this problem? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Jerry/Mississippi/ 54/IPF/dx April 05> > > > >> >>
