starband or docband for 17 month old?

After reading in the files I still have questions about Starband and Docband:

Are they both 'active' or 'dynamic'?

Is docband more'dynamic' than starband? I understand they both work as long as

the ortho is good but since my son is 17 month old, would one that's more active

be better at this point I wonder? Or is the only difference between the two the

fact that starband covers more of the head than docband making docband easier to

bear I guess?

Also would cranialtech be more available, experienced and enthusiastic to band

this late making me hope for better results?

Ellie Dias at Westcoast here in Tampa said she'll band him (starband) if I want

to but definetly doesn't normally do it this late; does the ortho need to have

that kind of specific experience with banding older babies or not?

Is cranialtech here in Florida only in Miami? If so I don't think I would be

able to go there but is starband just the same for my older baby? If anybody

knows please I would appreciate any advice.
