More on NY - another question

Hi,

So, I called Yadira and got a tentative appointment for 6/24 (first

available! you all were right)...I am checking with my OB to see if

I can fly so close to my due date though.

Here is my question - if it were you, would you wait until Dalia is

2 years old (November)to go or would you go in June to just get a

good snapshot of everything...we are missing the convention also. I

don't really know whether it is too late to go when Dalia turns 2 in

November. I want to make sure to time this first appointment

correctly, but not go unnecessarily early.

hi sheryl,

is there a specific reason besides the wanting consult (is she

having any major problems you want addressed or should be addressed

sooner?) if you are unable to fly you are going to have to wait any

way so maybe it would be easier for you!!

The good news is that most of Dr. H's kids don't start GH magically

on their 2nd birthdays. So I would go now for peace of mind. Dr. H

may say that everything is great, and she doesn't want to see you

for another 6 months, or longer.... If you are able to fly, I would

go now. If you can't, don't panic, and wait until you are able to

fly. You have learned so much info from the convention and here --

Sheryl,

I would not wait. The sooner you see her the sooner you can get the

best protocal set up for your child.
