Guest guest
For those of you that had your fistulas heal on this diet, how did you know they were starting to heal? I have setons in place and am worried that I won't be able to tell since the purpose of the setons is to keep the fistula open. Does anyone have experience with this? Guest guest
Hello I didn't catch your name,My husband has had a seton for the past year to year and a half. How you will tell that it is healing is that it will drain less and less and pretty soon, you won't really remember that it is there. He had to wear gauze pads/bandages to catch the drainage at the beginning and he did have some difficulty with continued infection, but after the infection began to clear, it was easy to tell it was healing and soon he no longer felt the need to wear a bandage/gauze pad.
