Thanks for that update. I think I did remember reading that before

and forgot! I will keep that in mind for DH. BTW, I managed to

convince him that all the things that he was cutting out because he

felt they were to blame for his rash (under the logic that it was a

sensitivity issue), all had one thing in common -- negative effects

in the presence of yeast. So he agreed to do an oil of oregano test.

He is taking 2 drop sublingually three times today. I told him I

expected at least 1 of three outcomes -- rash would get better, much

worse, and/or feeling flu-like symptoms. I said that if absolutely

nothing happened after 24 hours, that I would shut up about him

needing to test for yeast. Boy I hope this gives a definite,

undeniable response!

Amelia,

Fingers and toes are crossed for you that this does give a definitive

response for your DH, that he cannot ignore! I have been using oil

of oregano the last six months as one of the things I dose myself

with when a cold/flu is threatening. I think it helps, and I have

read it's pretty wide-spread in its effects so seems like it should

help yeast, too. On the other hand, when I take it for viral reasons

I can't say I get any surge in yeast reaction (I mean, while I'm on

the Diflucan and presumably still have yeast). Or maybe it all gets

used up by fighting the virus? I put my oil of oregano in a little

bit of water. It is strong enough that way!
