Dear Judy,

The written instructions sent to me by the gastro prior to my Upper

GI Endoscopy only told me to stop taking aspirin at least 3 days

prior to the procedure and no food/drink after midnight the evening

before. I was also told that I could take necessary medication in the

early morning before the procedure with a small sip of water. The

gastro I used totally knocked me out and the test was a breeze. I

didn't even know it was done! Good luck.
