Guest guest
Walt, We were anchored beyond Crescent Bay by Penell point. My ex-daughter in law is the park ranger at Spencer Spit. My 16 year old granddaugher lives there on the park.I'm still not quite recuperated from the Pancreatitis I got from taking the Imuran but I am better. I have an appointment for an Echocardiogram tomorrow. The boat got some damage. The anchor rope broke and the anchor chain messed things up a little there. The anchor was twisted into a U shape. There is also some paint scraped off the bottom but it is insured and it came out pretty good considering what could have happened. I only wound up in the hospital because I was already sick. I couldn't believe the boat that came to rescue me. Bob said it was a rescue boat out of Oak Harbor. It was called the Zodiac. It seemed way to small to be out in that storm. Those guys are so brave. I didn't get to thank them but Bob did. We was out in the storm as well. We were over by island and waited out the worst of it then made a dash for home. How is everyone now ? The boat? Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow.†
