AJ-

Over the counter (till you see a doc) I used tons of Immodium (yes,

I'm talking up to 18/day in divided doses) and FiberCon, 6 to 8

tablets over the course of a day. My gastroenterologist prescribed

Symax-SR 1 to 2 tabs, 2 to 3x/day for routine control, and Symax SL

for extra stressful days. It will take around 6 weeks for your body

to regulate after starting the Symax.. but hey- On " normal " days, I

have the same schedule as the " regular " posties! A couple in the AM,

then nada until ~8pm. Call your PCP.. tell him to either prescribe

them for you or refer you to someone who will!

I will say, tho- the FiberCon does make a big difference.

Guess what? Acidophlis works wonders on the smell for Mike! Hes been on it

now for a week and already there is a big improvement. So if you need

something for the smell and getting rid of gas this has to be it... Im

taking it too and notice I dont have as much gas as I used to!

Gotta stock up on this stuff now!
