Guest guest
I worked in Boston this weekend (as usual) and had the dubious honor of driving from work to home (13 miles north of Boston)on Sunday morning during the blizzard. The usual 25 minute drive took me over 2 hours. The snow drifts were beyond impressive, visibility was a few feet in front of the car. When I got home, I couldn't get into my house. The snow was up to my waist (I'm 6 ft tall) and I couldn't lift my legs high enough to wade through. I had to dig my way in. Some snow drifts around my house easily reached 7+ feet. Roads were very difficult to drive on because the plows couldn't keep up. If you live in NE - stay indoors. If you fall or get stuck in a car it could be a very long time before you are found. Thankfully I don't work Sunday nites!! Stay warm!!
