HI Cara,

My son is 3 (2/20/02) and just went in for his Well Baby checkup.

He weighed 30 pounds and was 31 inches tall. On the US growth chart he

was at like 20% for weight and not on the chart for height. He was born

in Korea and we adopted him. I got the Korean chart out and it wasn't a

lot different. However, our ped said he was fine and healthy. He grew

4 pounds since last year and 3 inches. He is just small.

i am think a number of us use the medcal groeth charts to check our

kids growth at home from the stats the doc give us how accurit(sp?) are

they. all my kids were sick this week of follow ups so i came home and

plotted them on this they all seemed to be where they all schoul be

jacob now at 5% breena at the 75% same curve for breena and jacob new

curve same at the endo last week saw his chart it was 5% but ethan who

had always plotted at 50% today on medcal growth chart plotted at below

the 5% did i do something wrong i put in his stats he is 2.8 mths will

be three on may 5 he is 2 " 10 " and 29 pounds. his weight is good am i

making something out of nothing. am i just wooried because of a child

already short. does anyone else have a 2 year old i can come pair to.

hi cara,

my daughter Kelli is 2 years and 8 months. I am not exactly sure where she is

but she is roughly 28/29 pounds. At her 2 year visit she was 33 inches and I'm

guessing she is at least 35 inches now if not 36 (but probably not). I hope

this helps. Kelli was always in the 50% for both weight and height.

HI. I have a 2 year old son, will be 3 on June 2. He is 35 1/2

inches tall (measured standing up) and 29 lbs (no clothes!). I would

remeasure your son at home or something just to double check there

was no mistake made at the docs office. Maybe he'll have a growth

spurt before he turns 3 and get back on track. I'd keep an eye on it

anyways to be sure.

hi jamie,

your son sounds like he is doing well. it is not at what size my youngest is

at that worries me it is that it apperears that he is falling off his oun cruve

but i could be wroung i will be going for his well baby in about a month a will

have the doctors give me all of his info so i may look at it myself to see if it

is just a difference in charts or if they are missing something
