Guest guest
My doctor is concerned, I have to go every 3 months and get it checked. I have to take meds also. I'm supposed to be on a diet, but I don't do to well on it. I probably do eat to much fried and fatty foods. Working 2 jobs I live off of fast foods, but I have been trying to cut back and do better. As a kid I didn't have much of an appitite till I started GH, then I ate everything in sight. I didn't really start putting on weight till i got out of high school. I think its because the older I get the less active I am. Now i'm up to about 90 lbs. I have read when adults have Growth Hormone Deficiency one of the symptoms is high cholesterol. I have talked to my doctor about it and he is supposed to be referring me back to an endocrinologist to see what he has to say. Kinda interesting to see other people is having the same things. Guest guest
I'm a 22 year old RSS adult and I haven't had my cholesterol checked in a very, very long time, but after this conversation I'm thinking that I should. My primary care physician and I had decided at my last physical that given my age, my diet, my weight and level of activity that it was probably unnecessary. However, that may be a decision that we need to rethink. ~Hillary 22 RSS
