Never apologize for a vent

Dear Debi in Japan,

My heart is just breaking from all the issue's you and your brave

son are facing. I just wanted to let you know that venting is

encouraged, expected, and totally appropriate at this site. It does

not matter if it is culturally inappropriate, it is medically

necessary for your sanity. We are here to help you in any way

possible. Some of us have been in your shoe's too and the way we

get through it all is to come here, cry, scream, rant, rave, sigh

and then get back out there and try another solution we learned

here. You are not alone. Far away, yes. But not alone. For what

it's worth, I believe your doctor's are on the right track as far as

putting him on continous feeds. His body needs to get stabilized

with food again. As Dr. H. says, " Kids can't grow on air. " Please

know that I have added you and your family to my prayer list.
