It has been a slight week...

Well, we started off on Monday with our 8 am (first of the day) appt

at the ENT...on would think that since we were there at 5 to 8 and

ready to go that the office would be too (the dr. was there but the

staff was not ready).

Since extruding 1 of her ear tubes about 2 months ago Emerence has

had 4 ear infections. We were meeting to decide whehter to schedule

operation #3. Well, Dr. Chong decided we should wait 1 more month

and I KNEW, just KNEW that since Emerence was getting 's cough

she would have an infection and soon.

Fast forward to WEd, the one day the kids go to my mom instead of

daycare. I have the client from the fiery place down below and I was

in at 8 and didn't get to leave work until 7:30, but oh, did I

mention I had to then put their car seats in - my 2nd rental? KIA

has had my 3 year old minivan for over 2 weeks because it needs a

transmission but the dealer wouldn't replace until the regional mgr

agreed it was covered. The first SUV they gave me - guess what -

couldn't shift into reverse. So I got this other rental - and one of

the seat belts doesn't work so I spent 20 minutes trying to intall

the car seat for nothing! I get the kids and my mom says, " you knwo

they have been getting worse (hacking cough and cold) all day.

HELLO, this is my mother! You think she would say somehting before

7:45 pm. So, I am on hold with our pedi office until 8 and get an

8:45 pm appt with our kids pedi (I love them - til 9 pm except 5 and

they see you Sat and Sun).

Did I happen to mention that Emerence has been presenting her ear

infections by throwing up profusely. I was doubting myself that she

really had one but yep, she does. The dr did say she looked a bit

green but she didn't throw up. Mind you, I'm still in my work

clothes so we get home and I sit her on the counter to give the

medicine and BLAH, BLAH and BLAH everywhere. Dinner and her

chocolate shake (looked lovely in my hair - covered the stray grays

anyway) covered half ethe kitchen. I even had to throw out my shoes.

And why am I on the internet at 11:51 pm? BEcause the CLIENT wanted

updated reports at 11pm ish and tomorrow....

Did I also happen to mention that when I came home I found out my 5

year old son had " cut " Emerence's hair (the chunks of hair on her

floor gave it away). Thankfully it doesn't look too bad...

SORRY SO LONG.

I need sleep, hope to see some of you tomorrow!
