Night sweat metallic odor

Dear Listmates,

Does anyone have any knowledge / similar experience about this:

while putting our 5 and half yo ASD boy to sleep, normally we have no

other problems than slight hyperactivity before sleep.

But sometimes he cries, holds head and lower body, finds it difficult

to settle down. Those nights after falling asleep there is a period

of extreme swetting mostly through head and upper body. Later the

swetting stops. The smell of the sweat is like sour metal. We are not

detoxifying with any specific supplement.

Also he has early night sweats very often, but without odor, and no

complains before falling asleep.

Would be fascinating to know what is behind this.

Your comment is very interesting. Intuitively, it also came to my

mind, that this could be detoxing.

At the moment I am not keeping a diet journal, which would be ideal

to find out about this, but I will keep this in mind and try to find

a pattern. Probably all sorts of green foods ('living food') could do

this, as they can cure illnesses like cancer when used correctly.

Although sad, it is so comforting to hear that other people in other

places have experienced the same with their children; and from the

two answers by now to my mail, both (and myself!) estimate that this

is kind of detoxifying. You can believe that I trust three mothers

100% more than the face of a sceptical doctor listening to my stories

and not having a clue.

We have been on the diet for a year and 2 months now, but I do not

remember such sweats before starting the diet. Guess his body could

not do such a thing under the protein chaos.

Next time, I will turn that pillow with a cautious twinkle in the eye.
