Guest guest
, I won't pretend to be a specialist but maybe this is your bodies way of saying I need the nutrients so I'm not going to let anymore go. After all that is why we have fat cells, to reserve fat for when food isn't available. Since you havent taken vitamins since surgery, 10 months without the vitamins and minerals your body needs to survive is a long time. I know that for the last 5 years I haven't been able to lose any significant weight even going on 1000cal low fat diets. A nutritionist told me that because of all my YO YO dieting my body doesn't know when to let go of the fat anymore since I often deprived it of the essentials, my body kind of goes in preservation mode. Sure if I would have kept at it long enough my severe dieting probably would finally have won out but not without a fight and of course the minute I started eating like a normal person I would gain it all back then some. SO, start taking your vitamins and change something in your exercise routine and see if in a few weeks you start losing again. Some people have stronger bodies then others and just maybe your body has been fighting you because of the lack of vitamins. Also if you have been doing the same thing for weeks, meaning no change in food intake nor exercise maybe your body has adjusted to your routine and all you need is a change. Add 10 minutes to your walking routine, add an extra day of weight training, anything to breakup your present routine. Good luck. ===== B 36yrs Pre-op 11-13-01 BMI 49 BCBS of MI Blue Choice POS __________________________________________________
