Kyla,I can't speak authoritatively, but the sodium phosphate/erythorbate/bisulfate should be preservatives and although generally speaking preservatives are legal (except sugar), they need to be kept to a minimum. The artificial oil of mustard probably is legal, but I would give it a wide berth if it were me. There is no reason to use artificial anything unless it is to cheapen a product -- it isn't 'real' food.I know it is frustrating, but if you ask around, I am sure you can find a good source of salmon that isn't fed corn or soy fed (yep that is what farmed fish are mostly fed), and that doesn't contain preservatives. Can anyone help on this? Please and thanks in advance!

Any idea if either of these are legal? It's easy to make your own horseradish - if you have a food processor or vitamix or something. Just buy fresh horseradish in the store and grind with vinegar and some honey if you like, and anything else you want. You can easily google a recipe online. Just watch out when it is just finished - it's really intense - it calms down after a while - like 24 hours or so. Mara
