Brett also is always a reminder to me that I'm really quite lucky. I've

lived to be old and I'm not going to be leaving any kids and my disease

isn't nearly as bad as his was. I recall thinking I might have COPD and

finding out that I had a worse disease I'd never heard of. Well, Brett

would have given anything to have just had PF like I do and most of us

do. He dealt with things I can't truly even imagine and did it in the

most magnificent way. But he'll long live in those he touched and in his

wife and daughter, especially. Somehow, I quite imagine he gave his

daughter more love and real time and affection than most do in normal

lives. She may not have gotten years of him, but she did get all of him.

MB...I guess you are the one to pass along our sympathies...

Even tho' we knew how sick Brett was it's always sad to hear about a members death. Each person is so special in their own way and I have pleasant memories about Brett.

I'm sad for Mistie too.

I'm obviously sad for those for sweet little kids too. Didn't mean to

overlook them.

I remember when I crocheted a cap for Brett when he told us his head got

cold during chemo. When it arrived, it fit ! We all had a good laugh about that one....
