Guest guest
When I started SCD, I had an itchy rash behind my knees and elbows. It kind of came and went for the first 6 months, and then went away for good. I took epsom salt baths, which helped a lot. On about 3 occasions, I broke out in a red pin prick rash on my face, neck, and chest, but that one didn't itch. I think it was all just from the bacteria and yeast dieing. Guest guest
Dana White coating on the tongue generally indicates a yeast/candida overgrowth. It is good to check in with your doctor to rule out other possibilities. Dealing with a yeast overgrowth accompanies digestive disorders and a disrupted gut ecology, so it is common for all of us to deal with this. There is information in the group Files on dealing with yeast/candida, and on www.pecanbread.com. Usually time on SCD will help with this problem, but some of us find that our symptoms are severe enough that we need to also make some adjustments to our food choices in order to speed up the process of candida elimination.
