Have I gone to far...? Speaking of the tyranny of executive pharmaceutical thinking on the progression of medicine, here's more on the state of hookworm therapy for auto-immune disease, and the government's attempt to suppress it. By the bye, one reason that this is so annoying - like the situation with LDN both here and in the UK - is that here is an inexpensive therapy that doesn't need billions of dollars in testing at a time when both gov't's (not to mention other gov't's in the EU and elsewhere as well) have to think about serious ways to cut costs in medicine while still providing excellent therapies. http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2010/may/23/parasitic-hookworm-jasper-law\ rence-tim-adams Mara
Guest guest
That's just insane! Who knew that selling worms would be such a no-no. I guess we'll all just have to go to Africa and walk barefoot in latrines ;-).
