Guest guest
Hey Amber, As said, there are scholarships available, especially for first-timers, through Dayna Carney. Her email address is daycarney@... And lots of people do fund-raisers to help with the costs. You can do easy things like garage or yard sales, bake sales, etc... The ideas don't have to be huge and involved. This will be our third year attending the convention, and I couldn't imagine missing it. Each year we've learned something new, valuable, and applicable to 's situation, and it's truly helped us improve his care and treatments choices. And the chance to make new friends, who live within the same situation that you do, is invaluable! It's wonderful talking to people that " understand " ! It's SO comforting, knowing that you're no longer alone! Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 3 yrs 5 months old, 23#, 33 " , G-tube, GHT)
