Leah,

Are you aware that the hotel charges a night rate for the refrigerator?

This will be our 3rd year at the convention. The first year they did

not charge us for the fridge. Last year, I think the rate was

somewhere between $7-$10/night. I agree with you about the pricey

breakfast ( & other meals too) at the hotel, but I hate to pay the fee

for the refrigerator too! I just bought a travel cooler, which I plan

to bring with me in lieu of renting the refrigerator. It ha an adapter

to fit in the car & one for a regular outlet. It has a carrying

strap, so I can carry it right on the plane with me. If this works

well, it will more than pay for itself, as I am taking it on a road

trip too prior to the convention.

This is our 2nd year going and the only change I'm going to make is

to get a fridge in our room. The breakfast that is set up in the

hallway by the conference rooms was quite pricey and there is a

grocery store barely 2 blocks away so we're going to get bagels,

fruit, etc... and avoid that cost.
