Renate is a Dr. Baltasar patient and I'm sure was unaware of the problem. I

also received it to my box but when I read the information on it, figured its

not something someone would normally send unless it was a virus. Nothing is

worse than knowing you are the cause of a virus going out but once that

happens...there is nothing you can do but hope it doesnt get anyone.!!!!

I'm sure Renate feels horrible...she's a very sweet person!

Dee,

Somebody recently sent me a .exe file and I deleated it immediatly

and mailed them back and asked them not to send exectable

attachements.

Many viruses spread by taping ones mail list and sending themselves

out to eveyrone on the list. A good way to recognize them is the

files are executables or other unrecognized formats, the message that

comes with them is generic like " I thought you might find this

intersting " or " look at this " .

I always delete these files immidately and empty my trash.

AJ, thanks for the info - I wasn't sure who she was.

I just hope that she knows she has a virus so she can

take care of it. I know some of the viruses attach to

the address book and send emails like crazy without

the person's knowledge.
