I need to order a new yoghurt starter - my 2 daughters are on SCD for 1 year now

and they have been having the goat yoghurt for quite some time already. I have

been using the Customs probiotics yoghurt starter so far but now this cannot be

sourced locally ( we live in Holland), so I have to buy it from US.

Is is ok to continue using the CP starter ( the legal one) or should I switch to

GIProhealth one - this doesn't contain l.acidophilus, would I need then to

supplement my girls with another source of acidophilus?

My two girls ( 2 y.o and 5 y.o) are celebrating this week 1 year of SCD. It has

been a bumpy road and we still have some issues to solve, but overall both of

them have been doing amazing improvements. They started SCD for leaky gut, lots

of allergies in both of them, failure to thrive, bed wetting, excessive tantrums

in my 5 year old, and digestive issues in my 2 year old.

My 5 year old stopped wetting the bed since Intro one year ago, she is not

reacting anymore to dairy, eggs, spices and many other foods, she is eating

almost full SCD - with limited fruits and sweets, she has put about 13 pounds

and is out of failure to thrive; she still has some tantrums, but they are much

milder compared with how they used to be. She is still sensitive to some

cheeses, but we are slowly introducing them.

My two year old has been going though some ups and downs lately after being

weaned, but she too is now healthier and much, much less allergic than 1 year

ago. She is a happy toddler with lots of energy.

I am very grateful for the support I found in this group, the great answers that

I got when badly needed, thank you very much for being there.
