Guest guest
Hello - Jen here - sorry I didn't respond or have Steve write earlier. Surgery was harder on me than I anticipated. Infected mass was removed from my sinus area and although the biopsy isn't back, it had all the signs of being benign. Yahoo. I could breathe better and everything just " felt " different 2 days after surgery (the good part). Surgeon also removed some skin under my eyes from where the infection would cause fluid buildup every morning from sleeping, etc (I always wondered why I had these huge swollen eyes and sinuses every morning). Between the mass sinus/eye surgeries, my face is black and blue and swollen. I remember very little the first few days. Wed morn was surgery, 4 hours, got home at 8pm because I wanted to sleep in my own bed and went back for checkup at 10am. Thurs, Fri, Sat, finally today Sun I have been sitting in other parts of the house besides my bedroom! Steve has been awesome -- dealing with all the kid stuff and household (of course no school on Friday). I will try and catchup on email over the next week. Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts. I had NO anxiety attack before surgery (well, the fact that they kept talking to me in this room, and then injected the Versed in while I wasn't watching and I was just yacking away about how I love Josh Groban may have helped...) Steve said BAM, that was it. Jenn
