I searched for that thread. The last email from Marilyn said " legal DCCC has 0 carbs. " Sorry :-/~CD, SCD 02/21/2010

I know there was a topic about this not so long ago, but I can't find the messages quickly (is it me or the search engine is absolutely... inefficient ?)

Anyways, does anybody knows if Western Creamery pressed cottage cheese is legal ? It contains 1g of carbs per 55g. It's the only one I can find here in Montreal so I kinda really hope it's OK.

1 gram of carbs per almost two ounces (56g) is OK. I think if you check

BTVC, you'll find Western Creamery listed as one of the dairies which

makes legal DCCC.

Yeah, and the problem is that " 0 carbs " is for 28 grams.... and

means basically that it is " less than .5 grams. " So when the

amount given is for a greater amount, in this case, 55 grams, it's

" between .5 and 1.49 " and is therefore listed as

" 1. "

This is why I just LOVE food labels. (Not!) And why I'm suspicious.
