Many people find egg whites harder to digest. <g> I made up veggie-slop for my fur kids tonight: 8 ounces mixed organic salad greens 2 organic carrots 6 organic zucchini 3/4 pound mixed veggies -- cauliflower, broccoli, green beans 1 large Haas avocado Stuffed the whole mess in the food processor and turned it on, adding about a cup of water (if I wasn't out of broth, I'd've added that) through the mayo slot. Pureed smooth, spooned it into ice-cube trays, and froze it. One could add extra egg yolks to it if they were available. This will give us around 10 days of breakfast veggies for three hounds. This assumes I don't steal a cube or two to toss into a savory smoothie. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
Guest guest
I was thinking the recipe for the dogs sounded really good! You have some very lucky dogs. I will get there someday. I need to master me first. To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Sun, April 11, 2010 11:31:46 PMSubject: Re: eggs At 08:39 PM 4/11/2010, you wrote: A while back I read that it's harder to digest the egg yolks.
