Yes, it does. There are certain kinds of WLS in which removal of the lower

stomach (the antreum) can result in an increased risk of pancreatic cancer.

This does NOT apply to the DS (but does to the BPD only procedure) nor does

it apply to the RNY IF the lower stomach is left in the body (which it often

is).
