Guest guest
I can't answer your question on which ones are legal other than to obviously avoid the ones that have chocolate. Seems like I recall someone saying that Digestive Wellness only stocks the SCD legal ones (but I'm not positive about that so it may be better to wait for someone more knowledgeable to address that question). But a big FYI... I saw LaraBars in WalMart last week for only $1.09 each HTH
Guest guest
Digestive Wellness has the legal flavors listed: http://www.digestivewellness.com/itempage-1078-24-2-1626.html
Guest guest
These are a lifesaver for me, and I'm glad I tolerate them. What I do is check the ingredients, and if they are legal and I tolerate them, then I get them. I do well with cashews, so I started with " cashew cookie " . I don't eat them all the time, but they are great for trips. I also keep them in my purse for those times you get stuck somewhere with no food. PJ > > Hi All! > > My local BJ's sells Lara Bars for a good price and I'd like to stock on some. I've been on the diet almost 8 months and I understand that these are quite advanced but I have found myself able to tolerate all SCD legal foods well. I recall that only certain flavors are legal and was hoping someone could fill me in on which ones those were. My husband is also doing SCD with me for morale support and these would be great to pack in his lunches. > > Thanks! > > Holly O. > Crohn's 5/09 > SCD 9/1/09 > no meds! >

I can't recall any other illegal ingredients. I've tried just about every kind they have, but more often I buy boxes of the 3-variety pack -- apple cinnamon/cashew/cherry-- at Sam's because they're much cheaper than buying individula bars. I love them all, pretty much. And eat them often. n ______________________________ A funny, touching gift book for cat lovers. Guest guest
I'd avoid the ones with bananas as well, since it's pretty unlikely that the bananas were really ripe. Guest guest
I actually order them from drugstore.com by the case. It is more economical that way, and if you order other things like shampoo, etc and get the order to $50 the shipping is free. Since teenage daughter uses a lot of shampoo and eats the Bars, this works well for us.
