Guest guest
My son (6 1/2 months) was just diagnosed with plagio and we took him to get his casting yesterday for his helmet. Apparently his asymmetry is 16mm, but I don't know how that translates to the percentages you all talk about, I guess it's considered fairly severe. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about the condition, the treatment, etc. All this while trying to be a full time working mother and feeling guilty that I didn't realize how severe the flatness was sooner. He gets the helmet next week, but I don't really understand the different types of " helmets, " " bands, " etc. I asked and his is a bi-valuve helmet. Can anyone tell me anything about this type and how it works versus the band or other methods? I really appreciate any info. Thanks!!
