Hi

This is the first time I have posted,but have been as you all

say " I've been lurking " for over a month now. I first want to say I

love the wit,humor and challenging conversations in here. I am having

my surgery 30Oct at Siani Hospital in Baltimore with Dr Schwiezter.

It will be open as I have a very enlarged liver which he is going to

take a layer off of to remove a massive amount of cysts(is there a s

at the end of cyst?) also having hernia repair and galbadder removed

so I am getting 4 for the price of 1,yeepy NOT! I had gone to see

this Dr about a RNY, when he said he thought I was a better canidate

for the DS. DS? What was that? So I went home and searched and

searched and read and read and found you all. Alot of ands in

there!!! Well the jest is I am so happy I found out about the DS and

I tell you I am so happy I didn't have the RNY. Well that enough for

now good luck to all those who are trying to get approval and those

having the surgery soon.
