Kohler makes a model that it calls Wellworth. It is a Low Flow model, and verrry efficient. We had earlier replaced an older toilet with another relatively expensive one that was supposed to be low flow. Bad news, just as you all report. So, then we tried the Wellworth. It sells for under $200 in white at Home Depot. The old original models that we have upstairs do not deal well at all with my post-DS poops which are much less dense than pre-op. Sometimes, even though they are full-flush, I have to flush two and three times to get complete removal. But, the Kohler Wellworth model handles the " job " with aplomb in just one flush. Last Sunday, I special-ordered one in tan and one in green from Home Depot to replace the upstairs toilets. The special order for two toilets came to $400. Of course, I'll have to pay the piper to install them. --Steve --
Guest guest
With all this talk about toilets and such--you know what my favorate thing was in Spain? Every bathroom has a toilet and a bidet(sp?). The bidet is like a soaking sink for your bottom. It felt so good-- you let the warm water flow and everything is nice, fresh and clean. I think being such a dry climate there, the women esp. don't want to completly shower every day--but the bottom can get done!! They have other uses for it too--like a comfy place to soak your feet and to shave your legs. Tried all of it out!!! I think if we build a house we are putting in a bidet for our master bath. At first I thought that it was overkill but soon learned to love it. I have been getting by with the cottonelle wipes. They arent as nice as a true wash but they do feel better than TP.
