No additives or preservatives are added to the egg whites. The pasteurization process is just a heat pasteurization process so it kills the salmonella and neutralizes the Avidin to allow your body to safely digest it. Many of the egg whites you find in grocery stores have ingredients added to them in addition to additives and preservatives. These egg whites are made for baking and cooking purposes. Our egg whites are mainly for drinking purposes, but you can also cook and bake with them too.Please feel free to contact us with any more questions.
