How do you cook pineapples? I've only seen them grilled.

Raj,

I eat a lot of Pineaples. I always add them to any side dishes such as peppers and onions and saute the whole lot in butter and olive oil.

Also as a desert I mix them with Strawberries and drizzle with Honey.

Happy Birthday by the way!

I just cut them up in bite size pieces and boil or steam them. Then I freeze

them in their own juice from the pan.

They definitely are good in smoothies too, though =) Peace =)Alyssa 16 yo UC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)Azathioprine 50 mg 1x per dayPrednisone 35 mg 1x per day

I love pineapple chunks sautéed lightly with chicken stir fry,

or diced up and added to chicken or turkey salad.

Happy Birthday Raj! Enjoy your bounty of pineapples!

DH generally consumes the pineapples around here just as fresh fruit

(with other fruit). But I have frozen them and I am pretty sure I

just froze small containers of the fresh pineapple and juice, no

cooking. I may have added a bit of water depending on the amount of juice.

pineapples idea - thats was delicious! Going to definitely try most of these
