Guest guest
, I am scared to see what Zoe will be like when she is 9. Wait until you see her now that she is 3! The last time we were at the convention she was 16 months. If she wants something she can't have like, for example, yesterday she wanted her nails painted (as we were walking out the door), I get foot stomping, eye rolling, arms crossed and " I NEVER get to have my nails painted... " . The other day she came to me and said " I sell to the Gypsies. Get 50 cents and buy NEW big sister! " She's high maintenance! I seriously can't wait to see again... Brock wrote: I almost always say that has a growth disorder, and if the time is right, I will say its name " R....S...S.. " I almost never say that it is a form of dwarfism, primarily because a) people have an immediate image of achondroplasia, which is very different; and is now 9 and VERY sensitive about anyone being told anything!!! Oh, you with small children -- just wait! The good news is that they get themselves up, get dressed, make their own breakfasts, etc. The bad news is that their behavior sometimes can resemble a 2 yr old -- foot stomping, rolling the eyes, etc. Jenn > > Definitions taken from www.thefreedictionary.com > > <http://www.thefreedictionary.com/> > > > > > > > > Dwarfism: > > > > > > > > A pathological condition of arrested growth having various > causes. > > > > > > > > From the thesaurus : a genetic abnormality resulting in short > stature. > > > > > > > > Midget: > > > > > > > > 1. Guest guest
and , That is so funny, . I just had to laugh at that one! LOL! ) I know what you guys mean about the attitudes! Wow, is 3, too, and sooooo dramatic. I never know when Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde are going to come out! I swear he has a split personality. I don't know about anyone elses child, but if I ask him if he wants to go outside or go for a ride, he will say no. Then when I say okay, and start doing something else, he flips out and cries that he wants to go outside. And, he has such an attitude about stuff. Talk about high maintenance. I have said this on more than one occasion! He used to be so sweet and laid back. Now, that is all down the drain and I am living with the male version of Sybil! Guest guest
Boy am I glad I'm not the only one. The past month has been TERRIBLE. and Emerence have had monster sized attitudes. Emerence even hits and yells at ( " excuse me? WHAT did you just say to me? " - okay, she got that one from me) She also refuses to listen. Tonight she went towards the bathroom (after I told her about 50 times she could not jump off the couch) to get her teeth brushed and I went to pick something up and suddenly heard a huge thud from the living room (the other direction) following by wailing. She went back, JUMPED off the couch and whacked her forehead on the floor. I took both kids to the orthopedic guy the other day and he looked at me at one point and said, " boy, she is something, you have your hands full don't you? " Maybe we can put them altogehter and whine at each other? , mom to , 5 and Emerence 2 Queen BEE, 21 lb 32.5 " > > > Definitions taken from www.thefreedictionary.com > > > <http://www.thefreedictionary.com/> > > > > > > > > > > > > Dwarfism: > > > > > > > > > > > > A pathological condition of arrested growth having various > > causes. > > > > > > > > > > > > From the thesaurus : a genetic abnormality resulting in short > > stature. > > > > > > > > > > > > Midget: > > > > > > > > > > > > 1.
