What a great MOM you are! I wish I had a mom like you. I am preop,

but if I could put one thing on my wish list, that I would like from

my mom, is that I could use her for when I was scared, or blue, or

discouraged without making her panic or tell me I should never have

done this to myself.

I think that would be a great gift, and I will let the post ops give

you more practical suggestions.

Is your daughter a minor child or an adult? If she is an adult, then

I am curious to know what she says about what she is going through.

We all have very different experiences.

My Mom suggested I have weight loss surgery, as she was on her death

bed. My big regret is that she didn't live to see me follow through

with it. I hope your daughter realized how lucky she is to have

such a wonderful mom looking out for her..
