Guest guest
Hi Jane. We are having a similar issue with Autumn. i cannot get her past 16 lbs. She was 15.5 at 1 yr then up to 16.5 a couple of mos ago, then she got really sick and was in the hospital about 1.5 mos ago. She gained back some but she just will not go past 16 lbs. We've been stuck there for a while. She is always sick though, but also, she is also walking and running now so I wonder if it has anything to do with it. She doesn't seem to eat much now either....who knows, but she does like to eat, she screams for food and runs to the cabinet and pulls stuff out, just not much goes in her mouth. Good luck with , I know it's stressful. mom to Autumn 16 mos 16 lbs 27 3/4 inches, Ocean almost 3 30 lbs and a foot taller than Autumn ! Skye 6.5 36lbs 43 1/4 inches, baby girl due in July > > Question for all you experienced parents out there: > My daughter, , weighed 17# 15oz 1 month ago - shortly after that weight check she got sick - was down to 17lb 7oz - now - 1month later I brought her in yesterday hoping she would have at least gained back that weight and she was 17# 6oz yesterday. This, is maybe expected - I don't know - typically every time I bring her in she gains - at least something - 1-2oz AT LEAST. The doctor wants me to keep a food journal for 2 weeks then bring her in for another weight check - eats well (In comparison to what is typical for SGA/RSS). Should I be really concerned? I guess I am shocked because she has been eating so well. Maybe she is just burning more calories - we finally have nice weather - so we are outside a lot - she is running around. Any thoughts/input would be appreciated. Jane, mom to - weight above - 28 3/ " - periactin, zantac
Guest guest
Jodie, could you give me that recipe? I'd love to try it with Autumn and my oldest son, both who struggle with any kind of weight gain, I wish I had that problem. mom to Autumn RSS 16 mos 16 lbs 27 3/4 inches, Ocean almost 3 yrs 30 lbs, Skye 6 3/4 yrs 36 lbs > hey jane!! > thats the probelm with christopher, he is always on the go!! you need > to get an extra 100cal a week in them to have them gain 1lb after > 4weeks!! the only thing is their motor never seams to shut off!!! i > have been trying to get some extra cals like ice cream and such into > him beofre he goes to sleep. also when was the last time her periactin > dose was looked at? maybe she nees and increase? good luck!! i have > a great milk shake i make for christopher that is between 1000- > 1200calories if you would like to know what is in it just let me know!! > > jodie c

Guest guest
Hi Jane, Emerence went through the exact same thing, she lost about 1/2 lb due to increased activity. I see Jodie Cals posted her shake - I modified it for Emerence and it put that weight back on plus a few ounces! I use chocolate ice cream, one package of chocolate Carnaton instant breakfast, whole milk and cream. HOpe to see you in Chicago!!! Any new pics of ? , mom to 5 and Emerence 2, RSS/SGA 31 " 21lbs > > Question for all you experienced parents out there: > My daughter, , weighed 17# 15oz 1 month ago - shortly after that weight check she got sick - was down to 17lb 7oz - now - 1month later I brought her in yesterday hoping she would have at least gained back that weight and she was 17# 6oz yesterday.
