Thanks xxxx -- UPD#7 Hi , UPD #7 is Uniparental Disomy of the #7 chromosone. It is when your child has 2 #7 chromosones from you and none from his father. This is a know cause of RSS. However, it is present in only about 10% of the people with RSS according to the literature. It can be detected by a blood test.
