I have a question. My mother-in-law gave me those two beautiful

silver circles/rings. They are about one inch in diameter and are

shaped, well, like a donut. It is a circle but the inner circle is

cut out. One has the word MAGIC written on it three times. The

other has BELIEVE written on it three times.

Nordstom's was selling them for something like $25 each. My mother

in law put both on a silver chain for me. But you could put them on

a bracelet, a keychain, anything.

I contacted the distributor and I could get them for about $7 per

piece.

Do you think this is something that would sell at the convention?

We could do a mini fundraiser at the Dr. H table? I wear this

necklace ALL the time, and people step me all the time to comment on

it. Then I get a great chance to explain the double meaning

of " MAGIC " .

I have to pay up front for them, so I just wasn't sure. We could

maybe sell them for $10 each?? It wouldn't have to sell to just our

division.

We will have the plastic bracelets for sale this year, but I

personally can't wear those to work, etc....

Jenn,

I think that is a great idea. I think they would sell. But, like

you said, we don't just have to sell them to our division. I would

set up a seperate table in a generalized location where everyone

walks by so that more people will see them. I mean, it is usually

just the RSS people near the Dr. H table, don't you think? So, would

this money raised go to MAGIC as a whole, or just our divison? If we

are just giving the money to the RSS/SGA division, maybe we should

only sell to " our people " . :o)

Either way, I think we should do it! I'll be in line for one! :o)

Hi ,

I think you could probably sell them for more than $10. I would go

for $12 as an asking price.

It sounds like a wonderful fundraiser.

I think you will get a GREAT response. Will they be available for

those not able to attend convention? I bet they would sell like

hotcakes even on the website..just a thought!

At least 10$!! I'd put them up for 12-15$ and then drop them down the last

day if you have some left. Not only would our division buy them but ALL

Magic members!! I think this is a fantastic idea!!!

Jenn

I think it is a wonderful idea. Would they be available to those not attending

the convention? Maybe have it put in the newsletter with a picture and an order

form/coupon? Or can you have a small flyer can be mailed out through Magic and

people can pre-order this way you have a better count? Not sure if you have

enough time for that though.

Either way if they can be made available to those not attending convention, it

would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to see a picture of yours with a digital camera and post it? That

sounds like a good idea to me.
