Guest guest
I found some recipes for homade formula when going through my mail from other groups. I thought it might be useful to someone here. There is recipes for milk based and non milk based. Just thought maybe it was healthier alternative than store bought formula MILK BASED FORMULA 2 cups raw organic milk or piima milk not homogenized ¼ cup whey 4 tbsp. lactose 2 tbsp. good quality cream (not ultrapasteurized) 1 tsp. cod liver oil 1 tsp. unrefined sunflower oil 1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil 2 tsp. coconut oil 2 tsp. brewer's yeast 2 tsp. gelatin 1 ¾ cup filtered water 1 100mg tablet vitamin C, crushed MILK FREE FORMULA 3 ½ cups homemade broth (beef, chicken, lamb, fish) 2 ounces organic liver, cut into small pieces 5 tbsp. lactose ¼ cup whey 1 tbsp. coconut oil 1 tsp. cod liver oil 1 tsp. unrefined sunflower oil 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil 1 100mg tablet Vitamin C, crushed Read the book on the specifics as to how to prepare and as to where you can buy some of the difficult to find ingredients. Above all, do not microwave, it kills all the good stuff. Jean
Guest guest
Hi Great information, are you using these formulas ??? We are really interested in trying blended diet, we just have to get Liam healthy at the moment. Could you let me know the other web sites you are on, or where you got the recipes? Liam has to have dairy free, we could not use the recipe you have posted as whey powder contains milk protein, but Im sure i could substitute in some way. Thanks Jody(mum to Liam RSS 11kg and Cameron) > > > > I found some recipes for homade formula when going through my mail from other groups. I thought it might be useful to someone here. Guest guest
Sorry I just cut and pasted the recipes, but accidently pasted some of the post also. The name of the book is Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon. Tonya Mimi wrote: Maybe I missed something..can you tell me what book the bottom of your post refers to?
