Children's Tylenol and Other Drugs Recalled

 

The McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit of & hasvoluntarily begun a recall of certain children'sover-the-counter liquid medicines because of manufacturingdeficiencies, the Food and Drug Administration said Saturday.

The deficiencies may affect the potency, purity or quality ofthe products, the agency said in a statement.

Consumers should stop using certain lots of infants' andchildren's Tylenol, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl productsbecause some of them may contain too much of the activeingredient, McNeil said in a statement late Friday.
